What a consignment needs to clear

FDA food facility registration

Processing establishments hold FDA food facility registration and renew it in each biennial cycle.

Prior notice

Prior notice is filed before arrival. We provide the manufacturer, grower and shipper detail the filing requires.

FSVP records

The US importer must verify their foreign supplier. We supply hazard analysis, control records and laboratory results so the FSVP file is complete.

APHIS pathway

Fresh plant lines are offered only where an APHIS import pathway exists. Where none exists we offer the frozen, dried or processed form instead.

How an order into United States runs

  1. You send the line list, volume per shipment and the port or airport you clear through.
  2. We return a quotation with Incoterm, packing, grade and the United States certificate list within 4–6 working hours.
  3. Proforma invoice and sales contract are issued; you open the L/C or arrange T/T.
  4. We pre-fill the data your broker needs for FDA prior notice and FSVP and send it with the pre-shipment photo set.
  5. Consignment loads, the document set goes to your bank and broker, and you are told the flight or vessel the same day.
