Export from Bangladesh to Malaysia
Malaysia has a large Bangladeshi workforce and a mature halal grocery trade, and the four-hour flight from Dhaka makes it one of the cheapest perishable lanes we run.

What a consignment needs to clear
MAQIS import permit
Plant and food consignments require clearance through the Malaysian Quarantine and Inspection Services, with an import permit from the Department of Agriculture for fresh plant material.
Phytosanitary certificate
Issued per consignment by the Plant Quarantine Wing and matched to the packing list.
Halal certification
Processed grocery lines aimed at the halal retail trade need recognised halal certification. We arrange this with a JAKIM-recognised body.
Malay labelling
Bahasa Malaysia labelling on retail packs with origin, ingredients and expiry information.

How an order into Malaysia runs
- You send the line list, volume per shipment and the port or airport you clear through.
- We return a quotation with Incoterm, packing, grade and the Malaysia certificate list within 4–6 working hours.
- Proforma invoice and sales contract are issued; you open the L/C or arrange T/T.
- We pre-fill the data your broker needs for MAQIS clearance and import permit and send it with the pre-shipment photo set.
- Consignment loads, the document set goes to your bank and broker, and you are told the flight or vessel the same day.
